LSI Graphic Solutions Plus

LSI Graphic Solutions Plus utilizes some of the most sophisticated equipment in the industry, focuses on research and development of processes and materials, and motivates over 500 skilled associates to employ manufacturing techniques that result in effective solutions.

Digital Imaging
Explore the Possibilities with LSI Graphic Solutions Plus’ Digital Direct technology. This industry changing equipment offers the fastest total throughput from start to finish of completed product. Phenomenal print quality is achieved through the UV ink system, which produces brilliant sharp images. Plus, murals and other tiled images have true panel–to–panel consistency and the graphics printed today will most certainly match the ones we print next month or next year. Direct to rigid material and edge to edge printing means we maximize material yields. It also eliminates the need for transfer papers, vinyls, laminates and film separations.

Screenprinting

To provide significant efficiencies and the highest of quality, LSI Graphic Solutions Plus utilizes production oriented inline presses to print four-color process images.

Fabrication

Combining the results of various manufacturing processes, whether advanced, conventional or manual, LSI Graphic Solutions Plus will route, bend, form and assemble materials and graphics to create a final product that satisfies the needs of the customer.

Metal Working

From the graphic serving as the end product to collateral signage items, such as brackets, frames, hinges, fasteners, hangers and fixtures, LSI Graphic Solutions Plus can fashion metal into decorative graphic elements and functional hardware systems.

Finishing

This department serves as processing center for printed graphics to undergo lamination. In addition, Finishing prepares work to enter the fabrication stage handling die cutting materials to shape, square cutting and light assembly work.

Die Cutting

One of many resources for producing graphics, mechanical and thermal die cutting can result in a letter or logo transfer to an intricate configuration of major signage elements.

Laminating

The automatic adhesion of one surface to another to protect an underlying material or to achieve certain characteristics on the surface of another graphic or substance.

Edge Banding

Seen as a form of protection to vulnerable surfaces and as a method of decorating graphic elements, edge banding is the lamination of plastic strips to sides and edges of material.

CNC Routing

Computer files are developed in our Digital Imaging centers for communication to auto-routers instructing the routing bit as to its path and depth through a wide variety of materials, including PVC, foamboard and wood.

Thermal Forming

Thermal forming allows a flat sheet of film (typically polycarbonate) to be formed into a three dimensional shape by way of heat.  The sheet is exposed to heating elements creating a softening effect to the film.  Once the film is heated to an optimum forming temperature, a match metal (dimensional) die raises into the film leaving the impression of the desired shape.  Fans then cool the substrate.

The process has been used to support our in-mold-decoration product line that formed screen-printed polycarbonate sheets into shapes of cell phones, pda's, and other decorative computer parts.  More recently, LSI Graphic Solutuions Plus sells this service to customers looking for formed parts related to packaging, paint replacements, or even as a replacement to injection molded plastic products.

Powder Coated Metal Components
Our metal components feature super durable polyester finish, similar to automotive finish, baked-on powder process. The unique polyester powder allows the metal components to withstand extreme weather changes without cracking or peeling. The powder coat finish has more resistance to UV light than normal wet coat applications or standard powdercoat finishes. LSI Graphic Solutions Plus warrants the product against defects in materials and workmanship in concordance with manufacturer of the material supplier.
